Halloween

It was a dark and dismal Halloween night when two young boys walked through a misty forest. They suddenly began to hear very fast footsteps so they walked faster, a little afraid as the night grew darker and darker. Suddenly the boys became petrified as they heard blood dripping behind them.

They turned round and they saw a long cloak as black as coal, huge fangs full of red blood and a dark, sinister figure appeared from the shadows. The two of them stared panic-stricken at the very tall vampire as he was getting closer. They suddenly realised that if they didn't run they would die. When the vampire opened his huge mouth the two of them ran while shouting, "Aaaaaagh!!".

They managed to escape by running as fast as they could through the terrifying, dark, misty forest. Boom! A huge branch fell in front of them. They looked up and saw a dead body hanging on a branch, a strange black body. The very sight sent a chill down their spines. Suddenly the forest seemed deserted. They could only hear a cling, clang noise and loud shouts. The boys had a feeling the vampire was still following them.

As they walked they heard the threatening footsteps of the vampire coming closer. The boys looked back but saw nothing. But they continued hearing loud footsteps approaching them.

"Ugh!!", screamed one of the boys. The other boy turned around and froze to the spot the moment he saw his friend's ugly corpse sprawled out on the floor. He didn't have time to cry when "Aaaaaagh!", he died.

Everybody knew why.
