Equality Plan
SUNNY VIEW SCHOOL EQUALITY PLAN
At Sunny View School, we work actively and responsibly to ensure equal treatment and equal opportunities for women and men, promoting a working environment based on respect, fairness, and inclusion. Through our Equality Plan, we foster the development of a corporate culture grounded in equality, work-life balance, and the continuous improvement of our policies and organizational practices.
In compliance with the current legal framework established by Organic Law 3/2007 and Royal Decree 901/2020, we have implemented and continue to maintain a dynamic and constantly evolving Equality Plan. This plan has been developed in collaboration with the legal representatives of employees and has been duly registered. The Plan serves as the roadmap guiding our actions to integrate a gender perspective across all areas of our school culture.

What does our Equality Plan represent?
For us, the Equality Plan is not merely an administrative document, but a dynamic management tool. Through it, we carry out periodic assessments that allow us to identify areas for improvement and implement specific measures aimed at eliminating any barriers that may hinder real equality within our organization.

Areas of Action
The Equality Plan is implemented through various internal programs, through which we progressively advance toward achieving its objectives.

Access to employment: We apply objective and transparent recruitment criteria with the aim of promoting balanced representation of women and men across all areas of the school.

Professional development: We work to ensure that internal promotion is based on merit, ability, and equal opportunities, eliminating potential biases that may limit the professional growth of our staff.

Training and awareness: We promote continuous professional development programs designed to raise awareness among our staff and equip them to identify, prevent, and eliminate gender stereotypes.

Equal pay: In line with Royal Decree 902/2020, we are committed to pay transparency through regular pay audits that verify the principle of equal pay for work of equal value.

Work-life balance and shared responsibility: We encourage an environment that supports balance between personal, family, and professional life, promoting shared responsibility and ensuring awareness of existing rights and work-life balance measures.

Prevention and protection: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward sexual harassment and harassment based on sex, continuously strengthening our protocols for action, prevention, and awareness.
Monitoring and Commitment to the Future

The implementation of this Equality Plan is supervised by a joint Equality Committee responsible for evaluating the progress of the measures, identifying potential deviations, and adapting strategies to the changing reality of our educational community.

At Sunny View School, we view equality as an essential principle that enables the full development of talent within an inclusive environment. Beyond regulatory compliance, it is a cornerstone of our organizational culture and educational excellence, reinforcing our commitment to families and to the professional development of our team.
