Furthermore, all students in Secondary are supported by a form teacher who monitors their progress and wellbeing whilst also delivering PSHE/RSE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education/Relationship and Sex Education).

Next Steps

On completion of their International A Levels, most of our students progress into university education in the UK, Spain and further afield. Our students who opt to study at Spanish universities are not required to complete the “selectividad” university entrance exams because International A Levels are externally assessed qualifications.

English Language Support (ELS)

In English Language Support (ELS), we provide support to those students who join our school with a lower proficiency of English relative to that of their peers. ELS classes serve to enable learners to improve their English fluency through focused sessions on language development, thus enabling them to successfully engage in our curriculum.

We evaluate each learner's individual needs, which allows us to optimize the support provided, usually in small group settings. We focus on developing all four key skills of language: speaking, reading, writing, and listening. As a result, students will gain more confidence, be able to actively participate in school activities, and eventually meet the expectations of the curriculum at this level. â€‹
