Foundation

In the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, learning for 2- to 3-year-olds is centred around exploration, play, and sensory experiences.

This critical stage of children’s development emphasizes social skills, fostering curiosity, and communication. Through interactive activities, such as sensory play, messy play, and outdoor exploration, children engage their senses, develop motor skills, and learn about the world around them. Structured activities like storytelling, singing, and simple games help nurture language development and cognitive skills. In this supportive environment, children are encouraged to express themselves freely, build relationships, and develop a love for learning that will lay the foundation for their educational journey ahead.
