Key Stage 3
Students in Key Stage 3 (Years 7 to 9), aged 11 to 14 years old, have access to a broad curriculum consisting of different subjects and extra-curricular activities.
The Primary to Secondary Transition
The transition from Primary to Secondary is an important step in a student’s educational journey. Whilst this is an exciting time, this transition can often present different challenges to students owing to the number of changes, for example: new routines, new expectations, new subjects.
To mitigate these challenges, we have a considered process whereby the Secondary and Primary Leadership Teams and the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 2 Coordinators and collaborate to ensure that, by the end of Year 6, our students feel supported and aware of what to expect when they join Year 7 in the new academic year.
